Well here she is, Anya Christine, born October 3, 2008. She weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. We had an all around great experience with the care that we recieved at St. Joseph's in Denver. We went through the midwive's clinic, and that was a much better experience than we had with our doctor in Wisconsin. The facilities were great and they really made the whole process as easy as possible. I went in at 7:30 pm on Oct. 2nd to start the induction because I was 3 days past my due date and they found protein in my urine. But my contractions had already started. My mom came in from Utah on short notice to be there for us. Her and Rob helped me so much while they were there. I had Anya at 7:55 am on Oct 3rd. The baby and I both had high fevers when she came, so we had to stay an extra day to make sure there was no infection. Other than that, we have a beautiful, healthy baby girl!
