Anya had her first solid food today, some super yummy baby rice cereal. It was a lot of fun to watch her grab for the spoon and seem a little confused as to what I was giving her. She also tried to feed herself, and started to gag.
Most of it ended up on her chin, but she'll get the hang of it :) Grandma Linda was here to watch too. It was a blast!

I was so glad to be there for one of Anya's "firsts." I was also happy to see her smile when she woke up from a nap, and to watch her take a bath, and to kiss her neck, and to make her laugh, and to see her discover how loudly she could scream... Love, Grandma Linda
